Finally i started reading the books that i
bought at the MPH book sale. I finished one book, "Double
Wedding" by Patricia Scanlan. Not bad. Worth my 5 bucks!
Currently im reading "The Family Way" by Tony Parsons. So far so good.
Grrr... my freaking mp3 is down thankz to the earjack problem. to make it worst the warranty is over and that means $$$$. oh man! I can see a BIG-GER hole in my pocket already!! boo hoo hoo!
Yes and instead of saving money, i spent 15 bucks on a dvd! Hahaha! finally i manage to find the german movie which i watched during gp lesson when i was in MJ. "DAS EXPERIMENT"/ "THE EXPERIMENT"

Plot Summary for Experiment, Das (2001)The movie is based on the infamous "Stanford Prison Experiment" conducted in 1971. A makeshift prison is set up in a research lab, complete with cells, bars and surveillance cameras. For two weeks 20 male participants are hired to play prisoners and guards. The 'prisoners' are locked up and have to follow seemingly mild rules, and the 'guards' are told simply to retain order without using physical violence. Everybody is free to quit at any time, thereby forfeiting payment. In the beginning the mood between both groups is insecure and rather emphatic. But soon quarrels arise and the wardens employ ever more drastic sanctions to confirm their authority.
For CCA on sat, we had mentoring day. tiring but fun dae! the funny part was, Liyana brought her camera along WITHOUT the batteries!!!! -____-" hahahah!

Hmm… went to “University and Beyond” talk for polytechnic students on Wednesday. It’s definitely useful. NUS, NTU, Central Queensland University. There are also representatives from British council and IDP. The representative from British Council talking about studying in UK and how to go about applying. While IDP talks about studying in Australia.
NTU and NUS doesn’t offer that much courses unlike the overseas universities and they didn’t really mention about the admission part. So damn. The prof from NUS showed a video clip about NUS and its students. But its dumb la. The talk was obviously for POLYTECHNIC students so why the hell would they show students from JC?????? Like DOTZ LA! And to make it worst it was students from HJC, RJC!! -__- How annoying right.
NUS/ NTU? I donno. Overseas uni looks more promising but $$$$$$$. Well, NUS/NTU will be the top of my list for now. Shall work my ass off to get into the local uni. Overseas will probly be the next option if everything else fails! HAHA!
After the freaking-ly long talk, went to tour around bugis with my poly mates. HAH! And I spent again on a pair of new flip flops and a back pack. I can see a HUGE hole in ma pocket already.
Results for this semester kind of suck la. No distinction and my gpa drop! Boo- hoo.
Yes. I am glad that I cleared everything and I am glad that I still maintain my gpa above 3.5, but it’s just not good enough. That’s my bad point, I admit. I should learn to be more thankful, grateful and be satisfied.
It could probably due to the advance standing/ credit exemptions. Heard that to get exemption in a NTU/NUS, you have to get at least an A or a Distinction. With the results I get, do you think that will happen?? I DON’T THINK SO!

Ill be starting my drp this Monday. It’s a research program which will cost me at least 90hrs of my holidays. But im really looking forward to it! We get to use the new lab and we get our own access pass! Hahahahah! (dotz! Like that also get so excited for wat!!)
I didn’t have to go today for cca as it wasn’t my slot. Than I received a message from my mentee. “ Kak you not coming ah? I waiting for you” awwww isn’t she sweeeet!

Wahahahha! So sorry for this super late update. Its been a busy week you noe! Hahahha! Right… busy with watching Naruto! OOOPSZ!
So on sundae went out to celebrate Cherie’s belated birthdae. Well, itz only me nad and of coz the BIRTHDAE GERL, CHERIE!!! Though itz just the 3 of us we sure had a lot of fun!!! So off we went to marina square and treat our bdae gerl to breeks for lunch. I pass her the gift that I made. I hope u like it ya!!!

We continue to chiity chatty till we forgot about the dessert. Silly us! HAHAHA we only realize it when we wanted to pay for the food!
So up next was walking around marina square and we end up at Suntec City! Cherie was looking for her straws that she needed for her project. There were a lot of tempting stuff but the price tag was such a SPOILER. Grr… If only I had the money!!
We parted ways around 6 pluz. Nad went to meet her sis at mustaffa while me and cherie head off to the expo for the comex IT fair. The bargains were damn good la! There was a lot of awesome stuff. The mp3s… droolz droolz…. So awesomely nice la!!! Cherie bought a laser printer after being psycho by the salesman who so was nice and gave her extra free usb cable. Yupz plus a thumb drive! For me I tot I would walk out b uying nothing but guess wat in the end I burn $300 on a camera. HAHAH! The other $100 was paid by my daddy! I psycho him to share. Actually it was half half but as usual he will come out with many excuses to pay lesser. I agreed so the camera itz only for my own use! MINE MINE MINE!!! I actually bought a 6.0 megapixel camera for 399 with 1gb sd card. But guess wat I got a 7.2 megapixel camera instead! HAHAHAHAHAH! I didn’t realize it la. It was my brother who notice it! Shhhhhhhhh!! Hahahahahhaha
